Update Following 2024 AGM on 24th February 2025
Following the AGM on Monday 24th February, we are pleased to confirm that Ayrton Fielding has been ratified by the membership as the Club's new Chair.
Ayrton returns as Chair following Michael Beech confirming he was stepping away from the role.
Committee Positions
The AGM also ratified the following new additions to the committee:
- Paul Fletcher - Junior Parent Liasion
- Diane Fildes - Community Lead
- Rachel Bradburn - Media and Comms Lead
- Julia Vercoe - Social Lead
We are delighted to have filled these key positions within the club and believe they'll bring real positives for 2025 and beyond.
All other existing committee officials remain in post, as ratified at the AGM.
Captaincy Positions
Stefan Fielding was confirmed as returning to the position of 1st XI Captain, where he will be assisted by new
Vice Captain Ryan Fitton.
Annie Bate was elected as the new
Vice Captain of the Women's Team.
In the
3rd XI, Mathew Harrop was confirmed as Vice Captain
whilst the
4th XI will be led by Stephen Scott for the new season.
Proposed Rule Amendments
On general club matters, the following points were agreed through ratification by the members:
1. The Executive Committee will revert to its original name of The Committee
2. The cricketing strategy for seniors teams will be an item for review at the AGM
3. A separate set of internal accounts examiners will be used every three years, with the existing account examiners continuing their annual review
